Professional Background

I currently serve as the Marketing and Social Media Communications Manager at Donald P. Pipino Company, LTD. 

I am a 2011 alumna of the University of Memphis and received my BA in journalism in 2009 from Ohio Northern University.  I have a passion for journalism and new media, layout and design, social media networks and higher education.

Prior to my current role, I worked as an intern in the corporate communications department at Sedgwick, while also working as a graduate assistant and obtaining my MA in journalism.

During my undergraduate studies in journalism at Ohio Northern University,
I took an active role in the student-run newspaper, The Northern Review. 
I served as both the sports and features section editor and gained solid foundations in page layout and design that have helped me create more recent publications during my graduate work. 

I am an eager young professional with a love for journalism and new media. My skills go beyond the typical writing and editing process to include social media and graphic design. I am passionate about education and enjoyed two years as a graduate assistant where I honed my research and teaching skills.

In addition to journalism, my other great love is running. I competed as a member of the Ohio Northern University cross country and track and field teams for four years, and have since completed several half and full marathons, including the Boston marathon in 2011.
